It was really interesting reading about the workshop. Thanks a ton for sharing your experience. It was indeed like taking us through live.Hope you will share us the remaining days's experience as well.
Really missing the whole atmosphere there. It must be different for people who head back home after everyday. (I am presuming you didn't stay in the campus)
It was an awesome experience. Away from internet. Away from traffic. Just a few hours you will get, that too in a company of like-minded people. It was honestly fun and I really dread going back to office tomorrow.
@Gopi - Being disconnected sounds awesome. Would love your thoughts on the second half of the workshop that I just posted - do you concur?
Went through your impressive profile. We should get connected on Linked-in.Looks like you plan to take up film-making seriously. Howz the scenerio for amateurs in the US?
I'm basically a children's writer and it was the first time I got exposed to what a screenplay is all about. Anyway n-joyed the experience, especially the interaction with Shekar Kapur.
By the by are you the same SriPriya with that question on how a temple priest in Madurai could be different from one in Chennai --posted on the choosen ones google group? Even I had the same doubt --the whole of south for that matter has similar customs and traditions, so what so special about Chennai?
Anyways, Goodluck to you on the future projects. Stay connected.
Cheers,
Geeta.
Thanks :)
The amateur/indie scene in the US is active but very difficult. But NYC is sort of an indie hub, so that will, I hope, be helpful.
Yes, I am the same person who had the question about the temple priest. I managed to resolve that with my submission, but it's really not for me to say. Let's see what happens.
Would be happyt o connect on LinkedIn.
